Everything you need to know about ordering and paying for your photos on Photoset.
How do I place an order?
- Browse the gallery and tap the icon to select your favourite images.
- Click the basket icon to choose your products. You can also select packages under the Packages tab, if available.
- If you have more than one child, use the menu icon to switch between galleries and select images from each — you can check out in a single transaction.
- Click the icon to proceed to payment and complete your order via PayFast or Yoco.
When is my order confirmed?
Orders are only created once payment is successfully approved. This means:
- No unpaid orders are processed
- Your order is secure and confirmed immediately upon payment
- You'll receive a confirmation email with your order number and full details
Where is my digital order?
Digital orders are sent directly after your order confirmation email. If you don't see it in your inbox after a few minutes, please check your spam or junk folder.
I can't log in — it says my password is incorrect. What should I do?
This usually happens due to a small typo. Before anything else, check that there are no spaces before or after your password — this can happen if you copy and paste it and accidentally include a trailing space.
If you're still unable to log in, please contact your photographer to confirm the correct password for your gallery.
What payment options are available?
Photoset offers secure online payments through two trusted South African payment gateways — giving you a backup option if one is temporarily unavailable.

My payment isn't going through. What should I do?
Photoset uses two independent payment gateways — Yoco and PayFast — so that if one is experiencing a temporary issue, you can still complete your order using the other.
- If your Yoco payment failed, please try again using PayFast.
- If PayFast didn't work, please try using Yoco instead.
Switching gateways resolves the vast majority of payment issues.
I've tried both gateways and my payment still fails. What now?
It's very uncommon for both gateways to fail simultaneously. In most cases, this points to a temporary issue between your bank and the payment gateway — it's worth checking with your bank to confirm their online payment services are functioning normally.
If the problem continues, please contact us with the following information so we can investigate as quickly as possible:
- Which payment platform you used (Yoco or PayFast)
- A screenshot of any error message you received
- The date and time of the attempted payment
- The value of the attempted payment
